The Eid Celebration Committee is preparing for the biggest and best year ever in 2012. The Olympics have motivated us to outdo ourselves and compete in every way possible to challenge our members, our teamates and you, our brothers and sisters. We want to push 1Eid to new hights during the Olympics and we know how much impact we have had on our communities already in terms of da'wah. Now is a great time to really push ourselves in our own efforts to integrate in society as Muslims but without assimilating. We know as we know our perfect faith that Islam offers far more than Muslims have delivered in the UK and in Europe overall. 1Eid is one of the best, if not THE best way of sharing the essence of Islam through the best method of da'wah, by example. 1Eid shares the purest form of such da'wah through the essence of Eid as it was supposed to be celebrated.

In the past, we have had events ranging from 1000 up to 40,000 attendees at our various locations in the United Kingdom. We wish to achieve far more this year focusing on five locations for Eid ul Fitr 2012.  Help us achieve Da'wah and our Eid far better than most of us had ever dreamed of.  To everyone we have a quick message.

To our 1Eid lovers and supporters we say please come foward.  Enough pats on the back and enough praises for the projects.  We see thousands of such thanks but we see only a handful coming forward with donations or even volunteering.  Many have promised many times to support the project with pledges yet sadly a very few actualy came through.  We need you to live up to your word and fulfill your promises you made to Allah azza wa jall and His project 1Eid.  http://www.justgiving.com/eidcelebrationcommittee/donate

To people who are not Muslim or do not know much about Islam or 1Eid we ask that you write us your questions or comments.  We invite you to be our guests at our events so you may enjoy yourself and your family may finaly benefit from the fruits of our faith and share the essence of Eid with us.  We hope you will attend and realise the beauty of our beliefs but most important grant us the opportunity to host you as our guests.

To those who do not understand 1Eid we ask that you get in touch with all and any questions so that we may help you realise what we have realised over the years.

To those who have copied this project or realised the importance of this revival we are glad you have also taken initiative in your town or country but we ask that you contact us so we may work together so our ummah may feel united.  We offer support to other groups so that we may agree on what is common in the Quran and Sunnah of Eid thus pleasing our communities with what they are so very hungry for, unity.  Unite with us upon 1Eid and its ethos and guidance from the Eid Celebration Committee which was formed for this very purpose.  We want to achieve our claims and not be of those who do not do that which they say as such are hated by Allah.  Unite through actions so our words may hold more weight and value purely for His sake and our Ummah's progress.
